5/21/2015 – Littlefield Celtic Center is set to open mid June! A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Tuesday, June 16th at 5:30pm and the official inaugural event will the the Scotch-Tasting Fundraiser on June 20th.

9/18/2013 – Celtic Arts Foundation receives $500,000 grant to build 3000 square foot  Littlefield Celtic Cultural Center in Mount Vernon.

7/8/2013 – All volunteers for the Skagit Valley Highland Games are invited to attend the Volunteer Orientation Meeting at Edgewater Park, this Thursday, July 11th, from 5:45 pm to 6:30 pm.

7/7/2013 – The Solo Piping and Drumming Competitor Order of Play for the Skagit Valley Highland Games has been posted on our website here.

THE GAMES WILL GO ON! The recent bridge closure on I-5 will be repaired in mid-June, according to local news sources. No worries about getting to the Skagit Valley Highland Games! There’s even free parking and free parking shuttles every 15 minutes! More info here (at bottom of page).

5/20/2013 Advance tickets now available for the Skagit Valley Highland Games, July 13th and 14th, on our ticketing page here. CAF members get in free! We think of it as a kind of “Scottish 3-ring circus;’ with a wide range of activities for young and old alike, including featured music concerts, massed pipe bands, Heavy Athletics, Sheepdog Trials, the Children’s Tent, the Fiddle/Smallpipe Session Tent, The Harp Tent, the Culture Tent, the Whisky Tent, dancers and more! Whew! Lots to see and do!Dogs are welcome!

5/18/2013 The 10th Annual Scotchtasting Gala fundraiser helped to raise over $20,000 for Foundation operations! Many, many thank you’s to all CAF members, volunteers and friends for your loyal and generous support!

12/9/2012 – The CAF, members, supporters and friends all CELEBRATE at the Skagit River Brewing Company with a fun-filled afternoon of food, music, dance and community!

12/5/2012 – Thanks to over 100 supporters, the CAF completes it’s Standing Stones Capital Campaign and raises $200,000 for the purchase of a new office building!

11/27/2012 – The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) announced Celtic Arts Foundation grant award for $20,000.  Here is the NEA Press Release on the grant award.

11/1/2012 – We are at 85% of our fundraising goal! Come join us on Thursday, November 15th, at Skagit Station, in Mount Vernon, from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm for cake, coffee, tea and an explanation of our new Celtic Cultural Center design plans, presented by HKP Architects.

10/1/2012 – The Celtic Arts Foundation closes on its first office building, in downtown Mount Vernon, WA.

10/4-7/2012 – The second annual Autumn Smallpipes Workshop was held at The Firs retreat center in Bellingham, featuring instructors, Fred Morrison and EJ Jones.

07/14-15/2012 – Our 18th annual Skagit Valley Highland Games were a huge hit! Over 10,000 people came and celebrated with us. We launched our Standing Stone Capital Campaign over the weekend!

06/10/2012 – Jenny’s Scottish Ale tapped in preparation for the Skagit Valley Highland Games.

05/07/2012 – The CAF booth will be at the Bellingham Highland Games (June 2nd and 3rd). Stop by and say hello!
