In 2006, the Celtic Arts Foundation established the "Rob Robertson Memorial Athlete of the Day" trophy, in memory of a long time volunteer and supporter of the Celtic Arts Foundaiton. Rob had been with us since the beginning of the Skagit Valley Highland Games in 1995, volunteering his time and talents to help organize and orchestrate the athletic events. He loved all things Scottish, the pipes, the Games - and gave tirelessly of himself to help make ours the best it could be. In Celtic lore, the boar was a symbol of strength and Rob always hoped to see that symbol worked into our logos and promotional materials. We know he'd be pleased and honored to see this trophy - celebrating that which he worked so hard to bring about. We'll proudly display the winner's names on this page. The winner of the Rob Robertson Memorial Trophy, also receives a smaller "keeper" version of this perpetual trophy. Rob Robertson Athlete of the Day Winners
