Littlefield Celtic Center Landscaping

New Planting 1It was the English writer and poet Rudyard Kipling who wrote that “Gardens are not made by sitting in the shade.”  So on Sunday, October 18 we assembled a crack team of volunteers to install new plants around the Littlefield Celtic Center, their hard work immediately making an impact on how things looked outside!  Beautiful plant material was selected from Wells Nursery in Mount Vernon, and all work (and cleanup!) was completed by the end of the day.

Update as of 10/28/2015 – planted a new large tree today!  Here’s a slideshow of that:
