This weekend workshop is an incredible opportunity to learn from one of the world’s greatest!

The Celtic Arts Foundation is pleased to invite select Highland pipers to join us for a piobaireachd workshop with Andrew Wright, one of the recognized masters of ceol mor in the world. He won the Oban and Inverness Gold Medals for piobaireachd in 1970, was Piper to the Lord Provost of Glasgow, and is a judge for the RSPBA. This invitation-only workshop weekend is a unique opportunity to develop and refine skills while learning from an extraordinary talent.

This immersive workshop takes place Friday, March 23rd to Sunday, March 25th, 2018 from 9:00AM-4:00PM daily. We are pleased to be able to offer participants discounted lodging at a nearby hotel and flexible meal options. Discounted rates are available at the Burlington Hampton Inn & Suites, where you’ll save 15% on the best available rate and enjoy complimentary breakfast. The Hampton Inn is about a ten minute drive from the Littlefield Celtic Center. To make reservations, please use this link.

Participants also have the option to pre-purchase a lunch to be delivered to the Littlefield Celtic Center, or visit one of the many restaurants in downtown Mount Vernon, just a short walk from our facility. If you pre-purchase lunches and have dietary restrictions, please let us know by Wednesday, March 14th so we are able to make special arrangements for your meals.
