Thanks to many long hours and lots of hard work from the Celtic Arts Foundation library volunteers, we are very pleased to offer a new benefit for our current members...

Open Library Days!

The Celtic Arts Foundation maintains a library made up of materials related to its mission, focusing on Celtic music, language, history, and culture. Materials are cataloged in the CAF asset management system and made available to members to view at CAF events, and to borrow during monthly Open Library Days, typically coinciding with monthly Irish music sessions the second Sunday of the month, although those may change depending on the availability of volunteers.

CAF Library Borrowing Policy

• Borrowing privileges are reserved for current Celtic Arts Foundation members. Please bring your CAF member card with you to check out materials. Circulating materials may be borrowed for one month at a time, up to three items at a time. Members who lose or damage materials will lose borrowing privileges and may be charged the replacement cost for the item.
• Fragile or rare materials, as determined by the volunteer library coordinator, will not be available for loan and will be reserved for patrons to view in-house only.
• Members may return the borrowed items on the due date at the next Open Library Day, or before the due date during CAF office hours: Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm. Materials may only be checked out on Open Library Days.
• Checked-out materials may be renewed for an additional month borrowing period, only one time per item. Members may not check out additional materials until older materials have all been returned.
• You can access and search the list of CAF materials from home using this catalogue.
