Pointers and Practice for Learning by Ear Workshop at the Littlefield Celtic Center AND on Zoom!

Learning by ear is an invaluable skill, especially in the world of traditional music. Whether you’re learning tunes in a workshop or from a recording, learning by ear opens up so many possibilities! In this class we’ll teach a tune by ear, and we’ll dive into some techniques and discuss learning strategies. All instruments welcome! We’ll be focusing on melody, and instructors will play smallpipes and/or fiddle. This workshop will also be offered virtually over Zoom. The link will be provided to registered students the day before the workshop.
