Daimh (say "dive!"), Gaelic supergroup and un-challenged champions of straight in the eye Highland music are based around West Lochaber and the Isle of Skye, is once again bringing their world-famous teaching weekend to the PNW in October! This is a small group workshop/music retreat for those who are experienced in learning by ear and looking to expand their knowledge and repertoire of Scottish session tunes, and for those interested in taking Gaelic song. The workshop takes place in Downtown Bellingham in Washington State.
For melody and chordal instruments we will have two groups of learners, and students can self-select which learning speed is best suited to them. For singers there will be one group that will work with Ellen during class times, and collaborate with the other instrument classes throughout the weekend.
