The Scottish Fiddling Critique Event

This event is not a competition, but rather a musical critique from two accomplished performers. Participants will receive a written critique from both. Due to time limitations, performance may not to exceed 5 minutes, and the event is open to the first 10 registrants only. Sorry, but that’s all we have time for! Performance may either be as a solo, or small group (accompanied by instrument(s) and musicians of choice), with the performance also not exceeding 5 minutes in length. Accompanists may play for multiple Fiddlers.

To participate, please click on the entry form link, complete the form, print, sign and return it to us by July 1.  Due to space and time limitations, this event is limited to 10 players in each event, so please get your registration forms returned as soon as possible!

The Scottish Smallpipe/Reelpipe Event

This event takes place on Sunday, July 12 only and is not a competition, but rather a musical critique. Due to time limitations, players may participate in one solo event only on either Smallpipes or Reelpipes, with a performance not to exceed 5 minutes, and the event is open to the first 10 registrants only. Sorry, but that’s all we have time for! Players may additionally participate in one duet event (accompanied by instrument/vocal musician of choice), with the performance also not exceeding 5 minutes in length. Accompanists may play for multiple Pipers.
