Volunteer Registration

We need your help at the 29th Annual Skagit Valley Highland Games!

We have a lot of great opportunities at the Games this year and we need your help to make it a success. Volunteering is a fun way to interact with the community during the festivities and it comes along with Two Weekend Passes to the event (one for yourself and one for your guest). We ask that volunteers sign up for at least one, 4-hour shift throughout the weekend, but of course you can always sign up for more.

Some of our volunteer needs for 2025:

- Parking & Traffic: help direct cars trying to park onsite and offsite, check parking passes. Requires standing for all or most of the shift.
- Entry Gates: Scan pre-purchased tickets, sell tickets, greet attendees, provide directions, hand out programs, etc. Must be comfortable with using credit card machines and handling cash. Requires standing for all or most of the shift.
- Membership Sales: Sell CAF memberships in lieu of attendees purchasing tickets. Requires lots of handwriting and attention to detail. Must be comfortable with using credit card machines and handling cash.
- Sell Highland Games Merchandise: Sell merchandise at “store front”. Must be comfortable with using credit card machines and handling cash. Requires standing for most of the shift.
- Beer/Whisky Tent: Check IDs, put on wristbands, sell drink tokens, bus and wipe down tables. Must have a MAST permit to pour drinks. Requires standing for most of the shift.
- Ceilidh Tent: Interacting with guests by sharing information about CAF, stamping passports, arranging chairs, maintaining cleanliness, decorating the tent. Opportunities for specialized duties including demonstrating instruments, setting up and running a sound system for performers, and leading music workshops.
