Winter School 2017 – Back to Normal
We’re very pleased that after a one year hiatus in 2016, the Winter School schedule returns to “normal” for 2017. Here are the dates for the two sessions in 2017:
Winter School Session 1 for 2017: Smallpipes and Fiddle. Playing Scottish music together for pub sessions, “ceilidhs” and simply for enjoyment! Saturday, January 28 – Wednesday February 1, 2017. Seabeck Conference Center, Seabeck, WA. Weekend and five-day sessions available.
Masters of Scottish Arts Concert at Benaroya Hall. Friday, February 3, 2017.
Winter School, Session 2: Great Highland Bagpipers and side, tenor and bass drummers. Top-flight instruction and small class size are the hallmarks of our Winter School programs. For over a decade, we’ve been offering fiddlers, pipers and drummers from around our region, and beyond, the opportunity to improve their musical skills. We do this by presenting the finest bagpipers, Scottish drummers and fiddlers in the world for our concerts and instructional seminars. Saturday, February 4, 2017 – Wednesday, February 8, 2017.
Winter School Session 2 Extended Session for Highland pipers. It’s an add-on option for two more days of Winter School fun and learning. Wednesday, February 8 – Friday, February 10, 2017 (limited to the first 30 registrants only)
